Soldiers are the pillars of our democracy, who willingly sacrifice their lives for the country. They owe it to us to empower these brave women and give them what they truly deserve and help them meet the challenges of the future. There are thousands of such stories of brave women to tell, but in this book an attempt has been made to present some stories to the readers. Some such stories, which reflect the brave women who became successful after toiling in the heat of struggle.
Each woman's journey was heartbreaking, but inspiring in many ways. Writing this book and getting it to the end has been a long and tiring process, but throughout the process the author has made some lifelong friends. Having spent many days together, we had started talking to each other from the heart, which included light laughter and jokes as well as serious concerns; But now we know that we are together in good and bad times. Our defense background has bound us together, a beautiful thread that has made this relationship extremely special. Some of these women were extroverts, some introverts, some are still living in fear, but still all these women are an inspiration for all of us in themselves.

Reviews
"Ambreen worked with The Times Group with me, at Bhopal. Though our association was brief, she did an excellent job in her reporting/editorial position with us and was an asset to us during her tenure. She has excellent verbal and written communication skills and is extremely organized in her approach. She has always
been willing to go beyond her call of duty to get projects completed on time,
something which the publication industry demands. She would be an asset to any employer and I would recommend her for any endeavor she chooses to pursue."

"Ms Ambreen Zaidi is one such personality that I came across as a candid blogger at the portal of Blogger's Park where she headed the Editorial Team. A great writer, talented journalist, proficient editor and an administrator of high capabilities, Ms. Zaidi was a central figure around whom many senior bloggers enjoyed their inter-actions. All would have agreed that Ms. Zaidi is a totally sophisticated and graceful woman whose heart was always at the service and in dedication to the spirit and objective of the organization she was commanding."
